- Educational Qualification:One must have pursued a two year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) from a recognised institution. (OR)
- A candidate must have completed 4 years Bachelor’s of Elementary Education.
- Age Limit – An individual’s age must not be below 18 and above 35 years.

Paper II

- Educational Qualification:One must have completed 2 years DElEd and hold a Bachelor’s Degree. (OR)

- A candidate must have completed 4 years Bachelor’s of Science / Arts – Bachelor’s of Education (Integrated).
- Age Limit – One’s age must not be below 21 or above 40 years.
- One must have completed 2 years DElEd and hold a Bachelor’s Degree. (OR)
- An individual must have 2 years pursued 2 years Bachelor’s of Education from a UGC recognised university. (OR)
- A candidate must have completed 4 years Bachelor’s of Science / Arts – Bachelor’s of Education (Integrated).
Note: There will be an upper age relaxation for 3 years for Other Backward Class and 5 years for Scheduled Caste/Tribes.
UPTET 2024 Application Fee & Payment Method
To register for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 on the internet, individuals from the General or Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) category must submit an application fee of 600 rupees for one Paper, while those belonging to Scheduled Tribes or Caste are required to pay only 400 rupees.
Important Note: In order to apply for both Papers UR/OBC individuals are required to make a payment of ₹1200, while SC/ST applicants need to pay ₹800. Candidates who are differently abled, specifically Physically Handicapped, will only need to pay ₹100 for one Paper and ₹200 for two papers.
