SSC GD Constable Exam
To excel in the SSC GD Constable Exam, candidates must allocate ample time for preparation and utilize resources effectively. SSC GD Selection Process & Examination Pattern
Successful completion of all stages of the selection process is required for applicants to be assigned to the position of Constable GD. Candidates must participate in four phases of the selection process, after which their performance will be evaluated for eligibility for the available positions. Those selected will be designated as constables in different national defense forces.
- Computer Based Examination (CBE)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)

Computer Based Examination
The candidates will be called to appear in the Computer Based Examination (CBE) in the first phase of the selection process. This examination will be conducted online, and passing it will make candidates eligible to appear in the forthcoming phases of the selection process.
- There will be 80 MCQ-type questions in the test.
- Each question will carry 02 marks in weightage.
- A negative mark of .25 marks will be made for wrong answers.
- The question will be of Matric level in the test.
- Candidates will get 60 minutes to solve the test.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
After completing the written examination, aspirants will be called to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). In this test, candidates must clear the race within the given time frame.
- For Male Candidate – 5 Kms in 24 minutes.
- For Female Candidates – 1.6 Kms in 8 minutes 30 seconds.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
The candidates who pass the PET examination must appear in the Physical Standard Test (PST). The authority will select applicants with the physical fitness and standards per the norms of the defence forces.

SC GD Hall Ticket 2024 Important Details
